“I have been to many Shoestring and Southside performances before and I reckon this is one of the best opening nights I’ve seen. I felt like I was watching a cast that had been rehearsing for way longer than 2 weeks. Every line was clearly delivered, every scene looked polished and complete and every actor looked like they were fully connected to who they were portraying so much so that sometimes I forgot they were only acting! I particularly enjoyed the scenes that asked me to use a little imagination (the door in the jail cell, the tea cave opening etc.) the way the actors portrayed these scenes really made me feel like I could see what they were.”
