Our 2023 production was The Wreck Of The Shakespeare, written and directed by Douglas Roberts. It was Shoestring’s ninth theatre production. It starred twenty-six children and young people, aged from 7-17. It was performed in Waiuku War Memorial Hall on Friday March 31st and April 1st 2023.

“I am a 16 year old wildlife photographer based in Pukekohe, South Auckland.
I have been homeschooled for the past 6 years and have been doing photography since I was 10. It is my passion and what I enjoy doing the most. I have been recognised and awarded in several national and international photo competitions. My most recent achievement was being awarded Highly Commended in Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2022 which is run by the Natural History Museum in London.”
